LIDEM announces a new version of its ROLLER CUT system, specially designed for cutting rolls into high-precision and high-speed bias tapes.
The new model of the ROLLER CUT system is a bar-based cutting system, instead of the traditional roller cradle system. The system incorporates the latest technology that has allowed LIDEM to create a fully automatic and autonomous product, easy to program and use, that allows for extremely precise and high-speed cutting.
Several of our clients in Brazil and Belgium (the first clients to install this new system) have shown their total satisfaction with the system. “With this system we can achieve cuts up to 3 mm thick, without any problem” – one of them has informed us.
The system integrates a touch-screen control system that allows control of all the machine parameters (thickness and number of cuts, roll rotation speed, blade rotation speed, cutting head lowering speed).
Other new features of the model include the incorporation of a new blade sharpening system and a roll detection system that allows us to start the cutting movement as soon as the blade has left the roll. With this, we manage to increase the cutting speed, reducing downtime, making the cut as profitable as possible.
LIDEM will continue working to develop improvements in the system that allow us to continue increasing the already very high quality of the same.
